“Long-term success can only be achieved if your heart is in it.” Anton and Brigitte Böckmann impressed this wisdom upon their four sons right from the early days of their childhood. A village blacksmith in Lastrup, Anton Böckmann cultivated the good old tradition of the trade – and his family.
Their four sons, Tönne, Klaus, Gilbert and Roger, still have vivid memories. Especially the Sundays which were reserved for family. There was a special ritual on Sundays: After breakfast with the whole family, they went to church – and afterward, Anton Böckmann put his boys on the ponies they owned. Sunday was quadrille day!

Anton Böckmann gave his sons what he had longed for in his youth: Riding as a favorite pastime! As was usual in those days, the four boys rode without a saddle. But with increasing passion – right from the beginning.
